I know this is just a stealth 6th (In 3-D, Surround Sound) Edition thread. We all know it's coming (my rear end told me so).

Its obvious they have completed 5th edition since they fired folks a few months ago. They are already bored with it and are working on the next one so they can steal my precious bodily fluids.

I am off to my bunker, wake me when 7th edition is out, I will play D&D when that version fixes all the problems with the current and upcoming editions.

No, don't go to the bunker! The WotC ninjas have infiltrated the local law enforcement, and they'll be waiting there with their permanent markers, to change your game! Your 3.5 will turn into 4e, your 4e will turn into essentials, your AD&D will turn into Risk or Stratego, maybe.

The only way to be safe is to wear a lead hat, drink only canola oil laced with cayene pepper and to spend all your free time on messageboards decrying anything different for being different, but also decrying anything the same for being the same!

A campaign set in an alternate Earth where all the RPG companies have black ops divisions would be great.

"Mearls! Intel suggests someone discovered the secret rituals in AD&D and is going to summon Orcus at the next GenCon!"
"Get me...." *dice roll* "... Wizard Team Six."

PCs could be ninja operatives fighting to keep their company's product on shelves and their opponents' off. Drastic, dramatic ninja battles on public streets and in warehouses/print houses over which RPG gets the chance to be sold.

I'd play it.
