Delver's Square Goes Live

Jaws

A fansite for Ptolus: Monte Cook's City by the Spire.

This first update includes a healthy mix:

Justin D. Jacobson provides his Campaign Log as Practical Guide, demonstrating what he has learned over the years about DMing, particularly for large groups. It's a fascinating read from a truly analytical mind.

Ebbert's Outfitters Part I, a collection of unusual equipment by Eldric IV and Prismatic DM. If your character has a unique situation and a heavy coin purse, Ebbert's may have just what you need.

EricJr77 compiled a thorough, if not down-right exhaustive, Gather Information Index, making it easy to know just what Gather Information check buys a fella on the streets of Ptolus.

The Happy Pie Orc is a joke I hope you get. If you don't... well, explaining a joke is the sure-fire way to remove the funny from it, so click here if you don't get the reference. Othewise, Blackjaw is happy to reveal that "there is a bakery making these good pies."

Blackeagle devised Harven's Armed Transport on the Okay - Your Turn boards and has reprinted it here for posterity. If object A needs to go from point B to point C, and trouble is expected, Harven's your man.

If the Inverted Pyramid is too rich for your blood, try The Enthusiastic Student's Shabby Hat Guild. Respect the hat!

Leander Shever, a unique (to say the least) NPC by Skrir. Interesting for any game, he really shines when you want to highlight the strange mix of magic and technology that exists in Ptolus.

A restaurant specializing in faen seafood delicacies in the middle of the Docks? Yes, it's as strange as it sounds. Check out the Swallows Haunt by CuDraoi.

Peace and smiles :)

Fantastic! Thanks, Jaws. This site looks like it promises to be a great resource not just for Ptolus fans, but a really good generic D&D type resource for DMs of all campaigns, as well.

Looks awesome, I'll have to read through all the articles. Congrats on your launch.

PS. I think you need some links to the Ptolus boards.

Yay, thank you for setting this up. I hope to glean much useful information and ideas from the site... perhaps I'll even contribute someday.

Hi all,
Just wanted to say "thanks!" for the kind words. And yes, Festivus, please do contribute if the mood strikes you. I agree, we managed to put out a good initial update (we wanted to make sure the site was worth looking at from day 1) but we're already pondering next week's update. Contributions from the community are the only way Delver's Square will continue to be of use to people. :D

Take care,

Pitchwife
