Demigod "Divine Miracle" L30

First Post
How does this work with Rogues that have minor action attacks.
If my L30 Rogue uses up all his encounter powers in say the first 2 rounds.
Thereafter he can do 3 minor action attacks per round as the EP keeps coming back.

Take "Tumbling Strike" for example.
Thats 3 attacks and 3 full movemet shifts (tumbles) he can do around the battlefield per turn.

Sounds like fun, with boots +2 to speed added to a normal 6 speeder, thats a movement of 24 :)

That is how the Destiny works if you choose to play it prior to recent errata. The new errata on Demigod's level 30 <along with the others that have this same feature> is that you refresh an encounter power once per encounter. This significantly weakens the feature, but does not make it useless, simply less abusive from examples like the one above.

"Significantly" is an understatement. Compare it to the Archmage level 30, Archspell.

Archspell: Gain an extra Encounter power. But it's really a Daily power. Use it any time during the encounter.

Divine Miracle: Gain an extra Encounter power. It must be the same as one of your regular encounter powers. You can't use it until you have used all your regular encounter powers.

So. Less powerful: encounter not daily. Less flexible: Same as one power you already have. Less timely: Might not be allowed to use it at the ideal time.

I'm not saying it wasn't a valid change. But they went WAY beyond fixing the "use it more than once per round" issue, which could have been fixed with "You can only regain an encounter power in this way once per round" or something similar.

demigod shines because of double stat increase... it is still a very good choice...

it is just like paragon paths:
not all abilities should be over the top or there is no reason to take a different one.

Except that 'can't use it at the ideal time' is when you haven't used your encounter powers up. After that... you're all good to go. After round 3, one power of your choice is now an at-will attack.

That's a lot different than 'one of your dailies is now an encounter.'

Actually, the way Divine Miracle is currently errata'ed, the ability to regain an encounter attack power is itself an encounter power because it only happens once per encounter, "[t]he first time you expend your last remaining encounter attack power during an encounter".

Right, my comment was regarding the errata'd version. Before the errata, it was awesomenisity squared.

Ah well.

Still, it's more -flexible-.

Still, does Demigod still come with two stat ups, and Regeneration 28-30? Yeah?

Still powerful.
