Demoralise as part of a full attack?

Demoralise (a use of the intimidate feat) is a standard action.

Is it possible to include it as part of a full attack action?

My character has a BAB of +6. If I don't move, can I demoralise and then have my second attack?

If not, would that be a reasonable house rule or is it a pile of stinking cheese? (Bear in mind my second attack would probably involve fighting defensively ...)

Also, can I take it that the "retry" rules for intimidate don't apply to demoralise, or can it only be used once per opponent. (It only lasts for a round.)

No. You get either a standard action or a full-round action, not both.

No, I don't think it's reasonable. If the DM allows you to do that, the archer's player will demand to be allowed to use Rapid Shot and Manyshot at the same time, and the cleric's player will demand to be allowed to cast a spell and do a full attack, and the wizard's player will demand to be allowed to move and cast Summon Monster.

Actually, I think it would be quite reasonable as a houserule, as long at it was limited to 1/round. I don't recall the last time someone actually used Demoralize in our campaign. IMHO it isn't worth a Standard Action, but it would be worth an iterative attack...

Have a look at the feat Intimidating Strike in PHBII. It allows you to combine an Intimidate check against one foe as part of a melee attack on that foe - still a Standard Action, mind, but you can apply up to your BAB to the Intimidate check by applying the same penalty to your attack roll. The best part is that the Shaken condition lasts for the entire encounter as opposed to the one round effect of Demoralise.

Available as a Fighter bonus feat if that's of any interest.
