My copy arrived (nice, fast delivery) and I started reading. Beautiful book, some cool monsters, and tons of OGC. I'm in heaven!

Thank you to the person that started the thread pointing this book out. Please drop me an e-mail so I can give you a free PDF as payment for pushing me to grab this well-done book. And I was shocked to find some extra goodies with my book, including some nice prints.

DMs, be sure to grab this one.

EDIT: Oh yeah. My copy of Grim Tales arrived on the same day (sorry, I was very slow in getting this one). New rule to ENWorld members: When something as awesome as either of these two products comes out, don't stop kicking me until I check the product out. I should have been using Grim Tales since the day it hit store shelves.

Now, time to order Slave Lords!

Heh. That would be me, Phil. And aren't those prints great?! Did they send you a limited edition set? I just got mine yesterday. That one which is the Avadnu Primer cover is super-sweet. As for the free pdf, I can always use one of your products, but I'd rather be assigned some work to do for your company. ;)

No, not Denizens of Avadnu! That's the one the Ennie judges obviously were, according to one publisher, making "special considerations for smaller publishers" to get in the Ennies. That can't be possibly REALLY be any good! ;)

Okay, you're hired. Hit me on YM the next time you're on. I've got some product ideas that may be something you could do.

BTW -- I'm usually "invisible" on YM so even if you don't see me go ahead and ping me.

It's definitly one of the best looking books out there. And the monsters in it are great too! I can't wait to spring a few of them on my players soon.

Bullhockey I say to that! Inner Circle Games, along with Bad Axe Games and Privateer Press is one of the producers of d20 material that I buy material from sight unseen. Not only do their books just ooze with flavor, but they are also masterfully edited. Sometimes these folks have a better grasp on rules material then Wizards does.

Makes me feel good to be able to say that my name is in books from two of the three companies you just listed. Now to convince Inner Circle Games to let me work on something with them . . .

Get in line, Phil. They have a manuscript of mine right now. :)

Sniff. That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said....

Seriously, Denizens was my first major editing job, and while I can look back at it now and pick out various grammatical mistakes, I'm still pretty happy with it overall. Certainly gave me a lot of experience. (And as for rules, well...converting the whole book from 3.0 to 3.5 meant that no stat block could go unscrutinized.)

As an aside, there's something I'm curious about: the book's been out awhile, so what parts have people gotten use out of? Specific creatures, feats, items, whatever. Enlighten me!
