Dervish-style whirling frenzy barbarian for AU

I'm thinking of using the Unearthed Arcana Whirling Frenzy barbarian variant in AU, and I wanted to switch a few other things around as well. Uncanny Dodge and Improved Uncanny dodge switched for a short list of bonus feats, all general except for Intuitive Sense and Improved Intuitive Sense. I'm also thinking of dropping the HD to d8 and giving the class a level-based AC bonus like the Unfettered. However, I'm unsure how much of a bonus to give. +1 to +7 is probably too good, and I'm considering +1 to +5. Any ideas?

What's Intuitive Sense?

This is for AU. Intuitive Sense and Improved Intuitive Sense are the feat versions of uncanny dodge. Basically I'm asking what bonus to AC should a barbarian get in exchange for a d8 hit die.

Consider playing one of these, and replacing some of the bonus feats with whirling frenzy every 4 levels. Add greater frenzy and whatnot if you're feeling generous.

I would think +1 to +5 like a monk, but it stacks with light armor only, and only while in the whirling frenzy.

I've checked out your martial artist in the past, hong, and it's not quite what I'm looking for. I think I'll use its AC progression, tho (without Wis to AC, of course).
