Deryni Adventures RPG.....Anyone seen it?

Does that help perhaps, Rodrigo?

Well, I liked 'Psychic's Handbook', am ambivalent about M&M, and dislike game novelizations, so it's probably a wash :)

This'll be one that I have to see to decide. I have all the Deryni books including the limited-edition hardbound Codex, and I've got rules I adapted from 'Psychic's Handbook'. If it adds substantially to what I've got, I'll be interested.

Eh, who the hell am I kidding. If I see it, I'll probably buy it.

I'm kinda torn. Really like the Deryni books, don't like Fudge and won't use any of the rules. It'll come down to how good the d20 conversion is, I guess.

I don't play much d20 and I haven't seen another d20 conversion system, so take the following at face value. The Deryni RPG d20 conversion rules consist of 5 pages of the book and detail which races, classes, skills, feats, and psionic powers would make for a good Deryni d20 game. There's also discussions about character level options, religion and alignment, divine magic vs. divine providence, a sidebar about the Psychic's Handbook (from Green Ronin), and a short discussion on equipment and magic items.

All pretty straightforward, I guess.

Beyond that, the other 251 pages of the book are crammed full of notes on medieval society, how things worked in the day and age of the Deryni setting, and a lot of info on the setting, the Deryni, and the Fudge rules as they apply to this setting. Really a lot of good information in one book, naturally geared toward fans and potential players of a Deryni game.

d20 conversion (and magic system)

:)

Depends on whether this is a 1-page conversion, or meaty enough that it's not like "use fighter, rogue, and barbarian, take away paladin's spells and call him a knight"...that type of thing.

The DAG book has been out for over a year actually. If your local game store doesnt carry the FUDGE line they should. Ask them to do so.
