New player is learning fast!

(as in, he's 11 years old, received a 2024 D&D Player's Handbook this past Christmas, and is now running his own game starting tonight. For context, I run DCC for him and my son over Roll20 every Sunday, and today was maybe the 5th or 6th session he's ever played of any TTRPG ever)

----------------------------------------------------
EDIT after receiving post-game report:

Now my kid wants to run his own game, on grounds that he (my kid) understands D&D WAY better than his friend does. Though ofc, my kid plans to run a DCC game, as DCC is much more to his liking overall anyway.

They grow up so fast.

Read this as "Evening, mummy. What the heck?" and was very curious what game you were playing.
"Good evening, Mummy."
"Tip of the hat to you, fine sir."
"And to you. Fine evening for a stroll is it not?"
"Oh it most certainly is. Peekins here especially loves the crisp air."
"Ah what a cute little pup you have there. Hello there."
"Woof!"
(All smiles)
(Walking along)
(SQUISH)
(Looks down at foot... and the doggie doo doo)
"Mummy, what the heck?!!?"

;)
