Along the way we fought a monstrosity the size of a king cab. The only significant wounded was a horse.Proceeding to a city ruins, we dug around a high school looking for some wiring supplies to fix a radio for a soldier we found, the last survivor of his unit, and fought some dog-'shaped' chitinous things - we were still doing well. We salvaged the soldiers Hummer and stopped at a walmart and salvaged a flamethrower and ingredients for some molotov cocktails.When we got to the med center, we entered through the Emergency but the place was covered in webs and we were attacked by some cat-sized spiders and I opened up with the flamethrower. It got kinda crazy, gunfire, fire, a couple of Molotovs, but doing okay. One of the other PCs ran into the middle of the room to melee a spider and was quickly surrounded. I got a shot off, setting 3 spiders alight. Then, a dog-sized giant spider joined in, the PC was unconscious and webbed up. I took as shot over the PCs head but rolled poorly and he was caught in it. then his Molotov ignited from all the fire and he took so much damage that all 4 limbs were crippled and the legs were actually burned off. We treated him for shock and might have been able to save him but we figured dying from the shock would be more merciful.</blockquote>
