Designating Attacks?

How does this work? If I have an archer who has 3 attacks, must all the arrows go toward the same target? Also, what about multiple attacks with melee weapons?

Nope. You can shoot one, see what happens, shoot another, see what happens, shoot the last one.

You must designate your target "before" each individual role.

A light goes off in my head... but what if you have eigth attacks in a round? I guess you wouldn't need it....

Whirlwind attack is nice when you don't get that many attacks or your opponents all have high ACs. Whirlwind is also very advantageous when combined with Great Cleave.

It's even better when combined with Power Critical and a vorpal weapon!
