Detroit Gameday: Jan 31!! The Aftermath!!

Some marginal bad news here.

My friend Alex did not understand my description of mudpyr8's Hero game, and failed to check any of the online info himself until last night. Now that he's properly informed, he is asking to meekly bow out of this game because it greatly differs from what he anticipated (don't ask me how -- I'm just the confused messengerat this point). Instead, he would love to play in Lazarus' D&D game for the afternoon slot if that is still possible.

mudpyr8: On behalf of my misinformed, ne'er do well friend, I sincerely apologize.

FYI to shadowlight: My pal Bill is only playing in a morning slot, this is not an oversight.

The Keep on the Borderlands 3.5

Are you prepared to enter the Caves of Chaos? Ready kill the kobolds, battle the bugbears, and crush the cultist? journey back to when dungeons were dungeons, evil lived in caves, and killing-things-and-taking-their-stuff was a way of life. This classic Greyhawk campaign, infused with 3.5 rules and updated with an all new storyline, will challenge both veterans and newcomers alike.

If needed, I can jump into Mudpirate's game; I've had half a mind to five HERO a whirl for a while. I'd prefer to play it by ear than actually move my slot at this point, though.

Hey, Adam! That'd be great to see you two again. It does look like there's room (although Quickbeam is the final arbiter on whether that's true or not, of course.) Have you ever played CoC before?
Nope, but I figure I can wing it. How hard can it be to scream and run away? ;)

Check!
We'd love to see you in the morning games as well!

I'm making nametags for Saturday, so if you could, could everyone please post or email me your real name?

Thanks!
A2Z = Adam

Unfortunately we can only make the one shift. And I'm afraid we may also have to leave an hour or two before 9. :(
How long of a drive is it from the border to the game store anyway?

Despite the fact that no one has signed up for Dead Man's Ghost  , I will be ready to run this on Saterday morning if anyone is interested.

A2Z -- from the border, it won't take more than 25-30 minutes max to reach the hobby shop. If you have to leave early, I'm sure that I can find some rapid and gruesome way to remove your PC's from the game :D.

Yah, the only problem is that it's near Ford Road, so it's more or less the same distance to any freeway (I-96 or I-94) that will get you to either the bridge or the tunnel. But it's still not that far away.

That's assuming we survive the first hour. :)

Is it quicker to not even take the freeway?
