Hi all! :)

Thanks to Gothmog and JoeGKushner (always find your reviews useful mate) for the reviews and indeed bringing this to my attention. Sounds a lot like something I would find interesting.

Can I ask one question though; how extensive is the devil social hierarchy (specifically how high does it ascend)? This would be one of the elements that would interest me most.

Hm... This means there might be hope for the Encyclopedia of Angels.. :D

Are you sure the ECL's aren't balanced a bit more? Add the +1 or +3 to the Hit Dice of the creature, and that's supposed to give you the ECL. Then again, I don't have Savage Species on me, but I'm pretty sure the LA's are higher than that... Hm...

Thanks
Chris

THe book does not go into the heirarchy of the Hells. For that you'd probably be better off looking over the two Encylopedias they have. The background details mainly come in the racial descriptions.

The ECLs... See, here's the problem. I'm assuming that if they want you to use these very low level ECLs that the characters are starting off with no Hit Dice and in which case, they're still too powerful. A Pit Fiend cannot be +3. Bastards & Bloodlines may have some creatures in the +5 and higher era, but they're no match for a Pit Fiend.

much much higher

Kyton is a +6 LA, Hamtuala is a +5. I would ignore the ECL's in this books as they are insanely unbalanced and just stick to the core info and some of the fluff. FFE is notorious for having wonky game mechanics and good fluff info.

Hey Joe mate! :)

Thanks for the update.

Thats a bit disappointing, but I'll probably still give it a look when I get the chance. Which won't be for a while - I need to save up again after 3.5 hit me where it hurts.
