Diaglo's OD&D Review??

Yup. This is one of the more amusing April 1st pranks ENWorld has pulled in a while. I laughed as soon as I saw "Diaglo's OD&D News" up in the upper left corner.

Yeah, I think this is my favorite one so far.

I think I may have said that last year, too, but I don't remember what it was. Was last year the pirate year? ... No, I think that was just for International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Man, I can't wait for 1e - it sounds like it's REALLY cleaning up some of the OD&D rules that I hated, and going back to the Chainmail roots that the game was drifting away from. And so many new options - my first 1e character is going to be a gnome illusionist! My group is already houseruling in some of the sneak peeks we've seen. My fighting man (sorry, fighter) isn't just lawful - he's lawful NEUTRAL!

I hear Chaosium is offering to upgrade your OD&D game to RuneQuest if you give them your OD&D box set. It's totally the high-fantasy game I'm looking for and their d100 system is way better than Chainmail's dice pool.

1e is not the game I started this hobby with. I think TSR is making a big mistake.
