Dice Container Suggestion Needed for Special Dice

I mean, I like having a nice dice container, but why does it feel tacky?
Among other things, because Dice are a special, ceremonial object to gamers. You must treat your dice well, or your dice will not treat you well. So, giving them their own special place in a nice holder goes a long way towards treating your dice like you want to be treated.

I'd put them in a container with your "normal" dice. Here's how I have mine set up:

1. I have a decorative, wood, felt-lined cologne gift set box for my DM dice when I am at home. (Chock full)

2. I have a wooden "crate" double-bottle wine gift box for "playing" dice. (Chock full)

3. Last year's Gen Con promo "D&D For Dummies" promo bag for RPGA and games away from home. (Two and a half sets)

4. A Check-sized box for dice and markers I used for skirmish. (10-12 D20s and a sixer)

I keep my dice in an altoid tin, as I said. I don't have a lot that I use. But altoid tins are rather small (can only hold about 16 dice total), so it's too small for the Fudge dice.

The cologne box sounds niiiice.

My grandma.

My grandma used to have this awesome jewlery box (sans jewlery...she wasn't into it) that I played with when I was five.

It had about 20 different neat compartments--drawers, hidey-holes, a central portion that had a music box and a dancing figurine (which now I would change out to my favorite mini for the sake of irony)...It was sweet. I used to keep my Hot Wheels in there.

Look into a jewlery box, maybe at a secondhand shop.

Another option (I swear, I am a guy who doesn't wear jewlery (apart from wedding ring and watch) and doesn't wear makeup.

No, really, I swear. :o

My wife has this makeup pouch that is dark green, and holds pencils (for eyebrows, I think) and has all kinds of way to divide and sort her various tools to pretty herself up more than she usually is (in case she reads this *hide*). It would probably not be too girly for dice, and also would nicely separate them into a variety of different sections (for different games, maybe, or just different sets). Bonus here would be that it also could hold pencils on top of just dice.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go kill a rattlesnake with my bare hands while drinking whiskey-n-gunpowder to reclaim my manhood.

In the past, I've used an old aspirin bottle (complete with childproof cap). Some of the larger sizes could easily hold 20 dice, I'd think.

Eh. I like my dice, but I am not picky about where they are stored for the most part.:)
