Did anyone actually play Tunnels and Trolls with friends?

Do the characters not in combat add their combat total to the party total?
What happens if the characters in combat fail their SPT?

To add to the combat total, you have to be in the combat, or using a missile weapon or ranged attack spell.

whether the combat is the whole scene or the scene has several separate combats within is best left to situation.

As for failed SPT's?
My house rule, cribbed from some solo adventure, is a default of 1 point of damage (no armor) per 2 points failed by. This may not always be to Con nor Str.

But I tend to rule it situationally.
