Did I submit a scoop?

I followed the link and then made a post in the form provided, but it doesn't show up anywhere...is there any way to confirm my Scoop was submitted to someone?

When did you submit it? It sometimes take a day or two. Depends when a newshound has time.

I didn't mean I don't see it on the front page, I just meant...did it get into the system?

The Submit a Scoop link took me to a forum form, so I posted the announcement just like I would a normal post. But, it doesn't show up in the forum that it took me to...that's what I was asking about. Is there any kind of auto-response that lets me know the scoop was received?

Thanks for the responses, just want to make sure my news makes it into the queue!
