Did Tome of Magic introduce 3 new core classes?

I was just looking at the character sheets on wotc.com. It shows character sheets for three new classes..are they core or prestige (or a hybrid like Book of 9 swords?)

Tome of Magic Character Sheets

* Binder (1.2Mbs pdf/zip).
* Shadowcaster (1.2Mbs pdf/zip).
* Truenamer (1.2Mbs pdf/zip).

Are they more powerful than standard base classes (kind of like the Bo9S classes are exceptionally more powerful than fighter/barbarian/etc.)?

No. If anything, they're probably a bit underpowered.

(And I don't agree that the Tome of Battle classes are as powerful as you suggest.)

Swordsage is certainly not more powerful than anything. Crusader is arguable, but if its an argument, then it isnt exceptionally more powerful, and Warblade is better than fighter, but not that much better than Barbarian.

The classes in ToM are nice, and flavorful, but for the most part, they suck, power wise.

There are base classes in Bo9S and there are PrCs. There are no hybrids at all. That is, in fact, impossible. The two are mutually exclusive. I suppose what you meant is "Are there base classes in ToM, and by the way Bo9S is totally broken", in which case, I am astonished at your clever segue.

The base classes in ToM are generally weaker, so if you like to make non sequitur witticisms on message boards about which classes are too powerful, you will probably enjoy them.
