Because looking at it will just make me more upset?
I guess I just don't get it. I like good art even if I don't agree with design of something in the art. The one of the red standing over the slain gold has a lot of story to tell. It was previewed before, but the PDF has the whole piece and it is awesome. I also like seeing the full white finally, and it is really growing on me.

That being said, my son on likes the new blue better than the old one.

I dislike the new dragon designs so much that I just can't appreciate the art at all. And I have zero interest in seeing bits sculpted out of clay. I'm guessing they included all that to prove these dragons weren't AI-generated or something.

If nothing else, thank you for showing me that I don't actually want this book. I no longer feel like I am missing out.

Wow, I just can't understand that. In general I find them superior in almost all ways that I can't imagine disliking them that much.

Even the new copper, which I consider the worst copper design ever, does not offend me so much as to not appreciate the art itself.

What deep attachment you must have to the old designs to feel so offended. And I thought I had deep attachments! I guess I was still somewhat upset about what they did to the white, blue, and black dragons in 3e - 5e, but again not so much that I couldn't enjoy the art.

I'd say that last paragraph contradicts your initial statement. I think you can understand, although I'm not sure "offended" is the right word. These new 2024 designs just provoke a strong negative reaction in me. I won't go into any more detail than that.

The only one that I think is fine is the silver dragon, which seems to have had minimal changes.

Then I guess I didn't explain myself well enough. You clearly don't want to discuss it, so I will drop it.

I would say the red has barely changed as well. Some I like, some I don't. That is why I rated it as a tie with the 3e-5e design.
