Hmmm. Maybe the DM can help you out a bit. I don't know if you are playing a FR campaign, but Xarlen made a post concerning planetouched being considered "native outsiders" in the FR, and are hence not subjected to Banishment (thread here )
If your DM would allow your planetouched to be raised, they she is probably a native outsider...
EDIT: D'oh! Misread the quote. They say Banishment specificly works...
