Diplomancer Variant

Role: Specialist Bard or Sorcerer.
Why not allow wizards and divine spellcasters be spell using diplomats? What is it about diplomacy and diplomancy that necessitates spontaneous spellcasting?
Prerequisites:
- Skills: 8 ranks each Diplomacy, Bluff & Sense Motive
- Feats: Negotiator, Spell Focus (Enchantment)
- Spells: Must be able to spontaneously cast Detect Thoughts
- Spells: Must be able to spontaneously cast any of: Charm Monster, Suggestion, Symbol of Persuasion
So, a bard can get Suggestion and detect thoughts by 5th level but a sorcerer not only has to wait till 6th level to get suggestion, he cannot get the ranks without multiclassing. So how can the rest of the class be balanced if some characters get access to the special abilities at 6th character level and others must wait until 8-10th level? Isn't the +3 spellcaster level ability available to a brd5/dip10 too soon compared to a rog3/sor5/dip10 getting the same ability 3 levels later?

Why even bother with the 5th and 7th level OPTIONAL spell requirements? Why would anyone with Negotiator and Spell Focus (Enchantment) feats skip suggestion?

3 skills crossclass for most class at 8 ranks each is rough. Two sub-optimal feats as requirements is harsh.

Class Benefits:
Knowlege (any) (Int)
Why? Diplomats know anything why? The answer "bards have it" is insufficient. He's no longer a bard, he's a diplomancer, why do diplomancers have this class skill?

Quicken Enchantment (Su): Starting at 1st level, the Diplomancer can cast a 0-level Enchantment spell as a Quickened action once per day. As the character gains new Diplomancer levels, she is able to Quicken higher level spells, and do so more often, as indicated. The Quickened spell does not use a higher spell-slot (as though the caster were using a Rod of Metamagic (Quicken)).
You should limit the number of times per day based on both character level and spell level. While a 9th level diplomancer can quicken up to 4 enchantments per day. He can only quicken 1 4th level enchantment and 2 3rd level enchantments, the other quickenings must be lower level.

Not bad, but I have this problem with prestige classes that limit the types of characters who can use them. I also don't like when one class can enter the prc 3 or more levels sooner than most others. It makes me question the balance of the powers possessed. What character level does a typical character get access to their abilities?
