Dire Animals (and Prehistoric Animals) Index

Thought I'd post the animals and beasts in the Everquest: Monsters of Norrath here. Would that be okay?

Unless they are dire animals, I'd post them elsewhere.

I've got a thread going for animals that appear in the "real world", too.

If they are unique to Everquest, I'd give 'em their own index.

A few others, from quasi-official sources. Some of these duplicate existing entries:

Dire Frost Wolf (Manual of Monsters, p43)
Dire Gargoyle (Manual of Monsters, p155)
Dire Hyena (Bestiary of the Realms, Volume 1, p42)
Dire Mole (Bestiary of the Realms, Volume 1, p42)
Dire Raven (Ravenloft Gazetteer: Volume I, p126)

The dire frost wolf, and the dire gargoyle do not belong among the dire animals. The first is a magical beast, and the second should be a monstrous humanoid (guessing).

Shade: Put the ancient animals under a seperate header, such as:

Dire animals

Dire wolf, ect.

Prehistoric Animals
(prehistoric animals from the real world are considered equal to but seperate from Dire Animals due to their ferocity and thoughness)

Smilodon, ect.

---

I am sure you understand what I mean.

Also, you should remove the Dire Worg from the list as it is a magical beast, not an animal.
