Dire is not a size, Wildshape question

I really don't understand how you could have been confused. It's pretty clear that as a 14th level druid you can only shape change up to large, whether that be normal or dire. And it's pretty clear that a dire shark is Huge, thus excluding that from the list of things you can shape into.

Going by your method of thinking, once you are able to change into a black bear (medium) sized, you should also be able to change into a polar bear (large size) becasue they are both species of bear.

I have to agree with your DM as well.

I have to side against the DM. Not for any reason, in fact I fully support that ruling and use the same method in my campaign, and it is in direct compliance with the rules.

I'm just taking the original poster's side to bring some variety to the thread.:D

We appreciate it that you don't let the poor sod stand alone in the rain.

@the rest of the boards: OK, I'ts two now, all the easier to hit. Grab your stones (and no pointy ones, mind you) and wait for my signal before throwing. Even IF they say "Jehovah"! :D
