Dirty Trick + Strat Match = Stupid Trick

Especially since it seems Holy Day + Holy Warrior is better at being a trick (unless as some people have been saying Holy Day also requires first initiative too), although I've also heard that holy warrior not granting immunity so I really don't know.
On Holy Day. IMO, it shouldn't give immunity. Either that or it should only be usable for the style of the current move. IMO, no use-activated power should ever be usable to gaurentee a won round.

I agree that holy day shouldn't grant a auto win for the round. The same idea was tried out with the sash fighters in 1.0 and no one cared for it. It seems to me, that making Holy Day work like Chi strike would be best. It only works if it's used in the first move of the round.

Wicht why did you ask if I was still judging?

Because the theory had been to demote the Master Judges and then promote those still judging (so those that had quit the game would not come back as automatic authority figures). I haven't been following the threads that closely for the last week (rl has kept me hopping) and wanted to see. I had been looking for a thread to promote you in to tell the truth...

The same goes for Reiella who I think I have seen judge one match lately. Just been waiting for a good thread to promote in. But as I had said previously that I was gonna promote active judges I didn't want to be abitrary.

I thought as much, but wasn't sure. So I'll assume this means I'm back to master judge again.

Oh sure, why not :)

I was gonna wait for one of the matches you were doing now to tell you but since you asked...

heh sorry... I guess you could still do it in one of those, as a IC sorta thing, since my judge persona is different then my fighter one.

For replacing Sneaky Trick if necessary, maybe a modifier bundle?

Not too sure how I feel about that though for the Yakuza (it has a good use for Dark warriors as it is).

Might slant some probabilities a bit... Although it may make the balance issue a bit more clouded (seeing as how Sneaky Trick is set against Chi Strike + Modifier bundle currently) and replacing Sneaky Trick with a Modifier bundle would ... well be kinda obvious :).

As long as Holy Day makes you go first it seems about on par with ST since it can't grant an immunity but it adds a little more weight, also ST + PB stack HD + Mastery do no such thing.

Although Holy Warrior in itself does grant immunity in later rounds (ie, you can't intentionally gain immunity to your opponent's move with it) while Unholy Warrior doesn't. The greater weight of the day over the location is also there.

Out of curiosity why is it that FoF's second move is selectable by the user? It works as a nice relative balance I suppose to Dirty Trick's primary function in strategy matches as an initative scape goat. I would wonder how different opinions would be however if Fist of Fury's second move was selected by their opponent (to make it mirror the 'fairness' aspect of Dirty Trick's opponent selected move removal)...

Course I also don't see a real need for this or such, as whenever I do strategy matches, I only tend to use DT as an initiative tool.

Although, that was one of my bigger gripes in 1.0 with strategy matches, simply that, against brown belts and other equivilant ranks, most of the advantages I had for my path were wholely trumped by their abilities.
