I sorry that I didn't update my early PDFs to 3.5. I've been meaning to find the time to do it. (That and release several things on my hard drive.) There are like 70+ folk with Character Customization in their wishlist at RPGNow. I use to joke in my signature here that I hoped to finish the update by 4e. Guess not. It isn't even in a state where I could "just post it anyway".
I'm not at GenCon for this momentous day. But that's only because my son is too young for GenCon. When he's older and we attend together I'm sure that will more than make up for this disappointment. But until then....
I also haven't released my d20 lite project yet. Closer to completion but in vigorous need of playtesting.
I never did get published in Dragon (or Dungeon). I suppose not submitting material since 1985 has much to do with that. Still it was always something I'd do later.
Posting this here instead of on my company blog is also disappointing. Fortunately gaming is a lesser priority than playing with my son at night. But when I reflect on things I want to do games-wise/publishing-wise I get whistful.

Thanks for listening. Odd that the pre-announcement of new D&D edition should make me so reflective. What's it do to you?
