OK, added all the core books, I believe, plus some random others to stir the pot, so going to back off for a bit. Looking forward to seeing what else pops up!

Even the incomplete poll is reminding me how many products aren't winners. There was a lot of "oh, that adventure also existed" in D&D's history, although I know I tend to gloss over those in my memory. (Does anyone have strong warm feelings for most of the 3E adventure path modules, for instance?)

I appreciate the spirit behind it, but the process is confusing and probably won't yield the results you hope for. I would suggest something like asking people to list their 10 TSR/WotC D&D products of all time, then compiling them in one ranked list.

I don't understand how some of these products even made the list. Could we get some clarity on that selection process? Just your personal favorites?
I just threw the core rulebooks and some random others in to start - the idea is that people should be adding any missing favorites to the thread for people to vote on!

(Trying to add an exhaustive list of every single official D&D product didn't seem practical, and honestly if no one cares enough to add a particular product that probably wasn't going to make the top 50 anyway.)

Yeah, I was originally going to add additional stuff at total random, but realized that some products will almost certainly just be clutter on the list. (Though if someone else wants to add them, more power to them.) Personally, I'm going to try and just throw things in that I think might be someone's favorite, if not necessarily my own.

Looking through what's available on DriveThruRPG, a lot of both TSR and WotC's output, especially during the glut years of 2E and 3E, is -- as the kids say -- "mid."

That said, if someone wants to argue that Defenders of the Faith is one of the best D&D products of all time, I'd be glad to hear it.
