Well my adventure proposal has been approved so now all I have to do is scrounge together a few bright eyed players! It may well be that I need to wait until after an adventure or two closes, but if I can get 3-4 1st or 2nd level PCs then I am ready to crack on when they are.

The adventure will be a short vignette with a little investigation and what I hope will prove a few interesting combats. It should be worth approximately 500xp and a little more gold. If the PCs are up for it and everything goes well there will also be a possible follow up.

So if you are interested please let me know.

Hey folks, I would like some of the judges to consider my purchase of an Everburning Signet ring for my character Dair Shadowcatch. I would price this at 115gp the price for an Everburning Torch + that of a signet ring. Since Continual Flame can be cast upon any object this does not seem unreasonable and I figured a temple would be willing to do it if they did not loose any potential profit.

Pheonix8008 I'd also like you to think about that since I'm planning to use it in your game. No problem if it doesn't sit well with you.

Truthfully, I don't see how they even price an Everburning Torch at that cost. Per the rules, it costs 150 GP to cast Continual light on anything. (3rd level spell, so 5th level caster times 30gp = 150 gp, right?) So I would think it should be 150 GP + price of the signet ring. I'm not a judge though, so what I have is just info.

Well Continual Flame is available as a 2nd level Sorc/Wiz spell so it would be 60gp for the spell and 50gp for the ruby dust = 110gp + 5 signet ring. I guess Dair can go to a Wizard to pick it up, I just assume that the temples would try for competitive pricing. So the book price is correct - just for the Wizard version.

Ah, I see. You mentioned a temple so I only looked on the Cleric spell list. My bad. Then yes, I'd be okay with it myself since it is priced right. Not that I'm a judge or anything though.

Nope, and I've e-mailed him twice concerning the adventure I just started which he was interested in a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, to keep from making the others wait, I'm having to go ahead with that adventure despite the lack of his character. Hopefully, all is well with him and RL is just too busy to play right now and he'll be back someday.
