A question: My character Ducane leveled-up mid-adventure, and I'm aiming at the Warmind prestige class. Warmind has a "Special: Must have had some instruction by another war mind." requirement to enter it.

There's probably no chance to deal with the requirement during the current adventure, but do I have to mind it if I just pospone leveling up until the adventure ends, or can I just make up stuff like "Ducane met this strange guy between his x and y adventures."?

I had it RPed out for Juliana, and actualy did it before I hit level 5, but there's nothing wrong with it. Technicaly, I wrote the training into the background, but I wanted her to get a "refresher" before she went on her way.

But you should be required to have actualy gotten the training at some point before you take the level, which means sitting on the level till you can advance.

Problem! I was trying to update the character thread, but the forum gave me an error.

1. Please complete both the subject and message fields. Press the back button, correct the problem and try again.
2. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 3 characters.

I strongly suspect the length of the character list is the culprit, because if I remove the Inactive characters section, it posts fine. So I did that, but I'm not really satisfied with that solution.

Is this a temporary problem, or did Wik's newest character just happen to push us over the limit of characters per post?

Might be, it seems that Phoenix8008 had the same problem. I need to edit my LEB character, so if there's a general editing problem, I might run into it as well, I'll post an update if I do.

Rae, I might suggest we have people migrate their characters over to a new Character thread, which will let us weed out old ones. We can point to the old thread and leave it up for a while (month or two) while we let things get moved.

Just an idea.

I'd like to say, for the record, that it's not Wik's fault. Someone else just added to it, so there.

But a new character thread would be hunky-dory by me.
