I have a general question here: What experience level should I be aiming for at the end of an adventure? I was assuming that a single leve, or 1000 experience for these opening adventures, but you keep emphesising short adventures (you, as in the ruling body of judges) so I thought I best ask. by my calculations, the characters in my adventure should end up with between 1250 and 1655 experience points each.
Also, do individuals have to train to go up in levels?
(And should this be posted elsewhere?)
As of right now we are not requiring training. We may, eventually, incorporate that variant, as it seems fitting and has a certain degree of mechanical sense to it. For now, however, characters and DMs alike need not be concerned.
By short adventure, I mean 6+ weeks (probably 8-12 mostly), but not a campaign. The Psionicle is dated back from ancient times nowadays, and although I don't mind people aiming for lengths like that, I'd think it wisest to work in short bursts at first. No burning out that way. I expect most characters to return from their adventure at 2nd level, unless they wenth through a real physical, mental, and tactical maul and come out at 3rd, which could be feasible.
My adventure isn't nearly done, so I won't talk about xp with it yet. We're almost to the heart of the matter, as it is.
Also, I'm trusting DMs to figure xp for now, but that may change eventually.

The one in which I am waiting ever so patiently in the Red Dragon Inn for something to happen... So far, it's essentially a 500 gold bounty for a dead 'Evil Wizard'.
Thanks, that solves why I didn't know which game it was. Guess it's about time for a recruiting drive as soon as we get the map up, and I wrap up some loose ends...
