Only variants that are in the SRD are allowed. The Strongheart hafling is not, so you can't play it. Simple as that. Just check my list at the previous page, it tells all allowed races and classes.

I'd prefer it if you changed the halfling over.

Already done. I'll be editing my character stat post shortly. Everything is the same as before, except... He now has the +1 bonus to saving throws as a Lightfoot Halfling, and he only has one feat, Weapon Finesse. Additionally, I'll be switching from the standard WotC stat bloc to the LEW-official 'character' sheet.

Sorry for being a little defensive this morning, I tend to be hard on myslef, being somewhat of perfectionist, and so I tend to be defensive if I post hastily. Which i did. Sorry. I'll get back later, I can't spend much time now, I'm on a friends computer and I have things to do all day today. I'll post later.

No hard feelings Thels?

Why should I have hard feelings? There's been some misunderstanding about the Strongheart halfling, which is a shame, but now that we cleared that out, all is well.

So... just exactly which 'official' character sheet is the official character sheet? There seems to be some small variations even amongst them.

A new god for consideration...

Janiosen
AKA The two faced God.
Minor enwordian diety

Symbol: depending on the region, a balance scale or a yin-yang like device.
Home Plane:
Alignment: True Neutral.
Portfolio: balance and moderation in all things, 'opposites' as points on a continuum.
Worshippers: philosophers, monks, druids, those who have been harmed by polarized thinking.
Cleric Alignments: true neutral
Domains: Any two domains in opposition or balance (most common, healing&death, protection&destruction, good&evil, law&chaos)
Favored Weapon: Quarterstaff

Clerics of Janiosen are neutral not out of apathy or an inability to decide, but as an intentional balance between extremes they find equally dangerous. Their mythology tells of a battle of the planes which threatened to tear the material world apart in its fervor. In a rare intervention, the greater gods took the two opposing dieties and forced them into a pocket dimension that could only be opened when one being remained. They believed that either the pair would war for eternity without harming any more bystanders, or one would emerge vitorious but too weakened to do any more damage. Instead, after millenia had passed, the dimension was exited by a single being - the two faced god who had melded their seemingly immutable differences into a balance. This new being sought out other polarized opposites to understand and reconcile until it was truely Janiosen.

[there will likely be a PrC for followers of this diety]

I'm fond of Lichtenhart/Uriel/Gnomeworks method. I 'think' they are identical. You can also modify it ever so slightly, just so long as I can get all the information in one window to view.

And we are not being 'too' strict about this just yet. I havn't updated my really crunched stat-block at all yet.

Attached the template to my post at the top of this page: http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=61662&page=4

Kahuna: Looks like a nice concept to me. However, if it's going to be used, there should be a list of available combinations, I think. Saves some hassles later on. How about:

Air & Earth
Chaos & Law
Death & Healing
Destruction & Protection
Evil & Good
Fire & Water

The following Domains don't really have a counterpart: Animal, Knowledge, Luck, Magic, Plant, Strength, Sun, Travel, Trickery, War.

[takes deep breath] Wow, I've just read through half the threads in this forum - what a way to spend a sunday  Great idea, I only wish I'd bothered to look into it earlier. Hmmm, time to dust off a character concept or two.

Whats the lowdown on contributing to the Atlas & Almanac thread? It appears to be open for anyone who wishes to contribute to the background of Enworld.

Time to read through the Tavern threads now [gulp]
