Just to let you know, the links to the individual gods in the pantheon thread seem to have something wrong with them. Sent me to a page that said, "No Post specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster"
I'll look into that since I got some time, but I guess the links went to the original threads which have since been deleted. If so, I'll change them to the actual posts

1. Will my character gnerally be able to take homunculi and golems with him on adventures?
I'd say yes, much like a familiar or mount.
2. Will someone who buys golems from him be able to do the same?
Pretty much, unless the creator resumes control again.
3. What would my chances be of introducing OGC or original golems to the game? I know about the proposal system etc, I'm just curious about the judges reaction to proposals for new constructs.
Not quite sure. I'd most likely be in favor if I think the creations are ok.

I've done some cleanup in the first post of the pantheon thread. Is there anyone who can point me to the proposals for Ker, Saint Feragon and Kroggoth?

Hey, no killer phrases allowed during brainstorming! ;)

And no, I mean PCs. Xael seems to have a little interest in being a magecrafter, Creamsteaks thoughts in The Dance of Souls indicate interest in acreage, and I myself have been tempted to play a dwarven smith (craftsman). Once we have a decent number of jobs, we can still reduce their number.

Katherine was also theoreticly a scribe, writing letters for people, doing translations etc. You could adapt the d20 modern guidelines for proffessions, giving a certain small income, bonus skill points or class skills and/or an appropriate bonus feat.... that system should be in the sdr.

Great to hear from you again Kahuna B. How's it going? Hope you can stick around.

:) well, I'm definitly gonna wait until my post holiday schedule settles out before trying to run anything (and if you catch me running more than 2 games at once hit me real hard) but I do miss this setup. I appologize yet again for the way I left (and I'm eternaly greatful for all those who picked up my games) and I won't take offense at anyone who is unwilling to depend on my commitment initially.

It seems I have one character (Kirin) who could return to the inn, one (sara) in major limbo and one (katherine) in minor limbo. if pbartender and creamsteak could aim / email (kahuna_burger73 at yahoo) / Yim (same as yahoo email) me, that would be nice, but no rush.

Welcome back, Kahuna! :) (I hope I didn't screw up your games too much)

The starting occupations of d20 Modern could make a nice starting point indeed (and yes, it is in the Modern SRD). Needs work in at least two areas, though - they're tied to a different Wealth system, and they're starting occupations.

Katherine should be able to return to the inn without much of a problem. Don't know about Sara - which adventure should she be in?

:D no, you finished them out great.

So maybe something mechanically similar with skill prereqs? you could choose as you gained the skill and it would make certain benifits of them automatic (plus perks as appropriate)? Like say:

LEW occupation - scribe.
prereqs - literacy, speak language any three pc race, craft caligraphy or prof scribe 5 ranks, decipher script 5 ranks.
Income - for every two weeks your character is active in the Red Dragon, you may make a public income check [determined per ocupation based on profession/craft/perform rules - a scribe might make a craft or profession check with a bonus for each language known and get half that in gp as per the srd] to reflect the daily practice of your craft.
Perks - an active scribe gains a +2 bonus to gather info or knowledge local checks made in or about Orussus.

Thats very rough, obviously it would be best if occupations were designed by people who weren't planning on having a character take them, but is this the sort of thing you were considering?

Sara was in the middle of a battle royale "In the Service of Orussus" after a 5 month campaign, and it looks like I left just about the time creamsteak was out of touch for a while because there's no sign of activity on it since.

That's pretty close to what I was thinking as well. I posted a potential system earlier (awarding the income per month, as it goes with time XP).

That's indeed not a good situation to sort out. But it seems that apart from Aranel, everybody was around recently...

well, I figured weekly or bi-monthly on the assumption that occupation money would acrue in the tavern and we all hope not to be spending months at a time there. ;) Have you made a proposal thread?

Would jobs like weapon-smithing be handled by this, or would Rika have to do the selling to other PCs only? I mean, i could probably make decent money with discount special materials weapons and such.
