Combat is hard for most non-warrior first level characters (quite deadly). In a nother level or two I'll be fairly compitent, but I'm not even where I'd like to be with my concept yet because I need a level in my other class.

I hopefully have a non-combat centric adventure in the works, but I'm waiting on the Halina proposal before I kick it off (It being approved or not approved changes the dynamic of a few things).

BTW, my freefolk proposal was approved, what do I do with it now?

hmmm.... non combat centric adventure.... (considers ways to get her private investigator bard/ranger out of current adventure and back to the inn....) ;)

What about Sunny? :p

More seriously, while we do have several melee types, like Anton, in the RDI, I'm worried that taking 4 melees to a single adventure might make it much more difficult to create a balanced group for the next one :uhoh:
Actually, Anton is a ranged type. I'm fine with tagging along with three melee characters and helping while they take all the damage, though. :D

Formally, it goes in the Heap. I think we were leaning for the Judge account to do that, though.

Heh, ranged combat specialists (assuming they have Point Blank Shot) definitely count as melee when compared to Lasair

Bah. ;) As long as it provokes AoO's, it doesn't count.

Propose the Arrowmind spell and then buy potions :D
Heh. Actually not a bad idea. I'm a Ranger, so maybe I'll just make it a Ranger spell. I'd rather have it as a feat, though.

Or a prestige class ability or a substitution level.
