hmmmmm..... I'm leveling up my fighter character, and I'm hoping for a little leeway on a couple of things. One is that I took power attack at creation and didn't realize till later that you can't power attack with light weapons. Since she's all about the matching short swords, feat somewhat wasted. I'd like permission to trade it in during her upgrade.

The second request is to allow Perform: Gladitorial to be treated as a class skill for fighters. Since its entirely flavor, it would be nice if she could be good at it. ;)

I've been poking around, trying to figure out where to start thread wise with things - should I just jump into the latest Tavern thread when my PC gets approved?

Yes. If an adventure comes up, that's where you'll get the hook.

If you want, you can show up in the tavern before your character gets approved -- as long as you don't start the adventure before approval, you'll be fine. If you want to while away the time chatting with some other PCs, it's a good way to establish the flavour of your character.

Personally, I'm okay with the Power Attack switch. Wouldn't want to screw over an entire character concept just because of one mistake, right?

On the other hand, I'm not sure about the perform: Gladiatorial. That entails a class-wide change, not just a change for a single character.

I think if we define a new skill, we ought to specify if it's a class skill for any classes. Just because it doesn't exist in the core rules doesn't mean it shouldn't be anybody's class skill. And since I can't think of a class more suited to it, I think it is appropriate to make it a fighter skill.

One more question - I looked around for info about locations on the map, etc, but wasn't able to find references to locations, cultures, etc that are "canon" for LEW. Is there a resource I can take a gander at forst, or should I run things like that by the judges via background first? And if so, how much leeway do we get in bakgrounds to flesh out th world?

Thanks for the link! Would anyone mind if I gave some flesh to the Earling region, and especially the area around Mt. Yurgind, or would that be stepping on toes?

Would Creamsteak or a Judge add the Wikipedia link to the end of the Heap of Approved Content post? Perhaps with some policies on editing it and such could be included.
