As for inactive PCs, perhaps if we updated the first index post in the PC thread, we could make two categories of links. The first would be active PCs, and include the level at which they have been approved. The second would be for inactive PCs.

This would make analysis of active PCs much easier, and also indicate their approval status.

Zweischneid(Razir "The Whisper" of Orussus)
I'm not sure why #113 is "possibly inactive" and #098 is "AWOL". They both disappeared in virtually identical circumstances in the same game.

And I doubt it will make much difference in the outcome, but #140 was definitely used during an adventure. In fact, #048 and #140 disappeared at the same time, during the same adventure.

Bront is going to start a new Tavern thread, and I thought I'd make a suggestion. Kahuna Burger had pointed out that PCs occationally get insufferable, yet PC vs. PC combat is dicey and should be avoided. Thus I think the tavern could use a good bouncer. Since I don't think any active PCs are going to take that job anytime soon, I thought we should get one. Instead of making one up, I thought we should use an inactive PC, Gath.

If GPECKO returns, he could simply have Gath take up active adventuring again. It's unlikely he would be killed, but if he were, that's just one of the risks of disapearing when your PC is in an adventure. Gath is a friendly, easy-going dumb halforc, who would takes orders well from a nice boss like Joe. He's 3rd level, powerful enough to handle most tavern patrons. He's got good non-lethal hand to hand combat skills. He seems like a natural. And one more way to integrate LEW a little more.

Just a idea though. Perhaps other would think it problematic.

Gath works, or I could easily formulate a 3rd-4th level "Bouncer" character that would work effectively as well. The only feat Gath is missing that would be an improvement is Improved Grapple, so he can subdue patrions without even using subdual damage.

Obviously, we hope this isn't needed. I'll go with whatever works.

If you'd like to get him involved out of character, I'd be happy to craft an adventure specifically designed to drag him back kicking and screaming. Just let me know his reasons and current status. ;)

He's a wanderer, ever exploring the world. He's also basically a man of the wild, out of his element in the city. He does occasionally stop in town, recognizing that creatures of the city are among the myriad creatures he wants to get to know better, but doesn't stay long. When he stopped in Orussus, I hoped to have him caught up in a storyline that would induce him to stay a bit longer, maybe by making a few friends. Instead, he got roped into an adventure of the sort that he would never have chosen, got thrown in the harbor and nearly drowned by a corrupt city guardsman, and even the leader of the adventure was a rude guy who alternately threatened to press-gang him into the group and drive him away. Needless to say, he had a miserable time, and it would take a lobotomy for him ever to return to Orussus. His travels have taken him, I know not where, but a long way from the Red Dragon Inn.

I suppose it would be possible to arrange for him to meet up with an adventure hook while on the road. And I've always figured that, if and when we get a second tavern in another city operational, he may stop in there. But for now, no great frets on my part. I'm not ready to join a game right now (life in too much flux in the near future), and in any event, once I started playing him I decided Nurlan is a more fun guy.

Because sir, Mistakes were made. I was expecting mistakes to be made patially because I'm reletivly new and even though I was trying to have hard fact on all of my discions, some of it was guess work, which is why I'm so grateful for everyone's help in hammering out.

Oh, please don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to jump your case. I just saw what looked to me like an inconsistancy, and wanted to help out.

A Sisyphean task it is, really, to wade through all those posts and figure out who's here and who's not. You're doing well, thanks for taking the trouble.

Logicsfate -- thanks for all your efforts! Much easier to read now.

#146 -retire never used/player AWOL since 2/16/05
Rose Marie Lightstar(Rose Marie Lightstar)

#149 -retire never used/player AWOL since 3/16/05
Airwhale(Sam Martin)

Pretty sure these two saw some use, but disapeared in mid adventure. I think they were in Dance of Souls with Beamer and Banion (and Gur??) but I will double check. Dance of souls has had some lousy luck keeping PCs!

Edit: Yes, this is confirmed. You can change there status to "disapeared mid adventure."
