Discussion of Scotley's upcoming 4e Swashbuckler Game

Wilhelm is a bit older (white-hair), so none of them are a perfect fit. The last is okay. Prolly hard to find the match between musketman and old guy. :)

Thanks for looking!

Hmm, how about one of these?

Thanks for the advice, Walking Dad, but I'm sure there was a reason why I made the choices that I did. Still, I'm going to look again and consider your suggestions, so THANKS!

Leif, I would suggest Ardent Strike instead of Valiant Strike and increase Cha at 4th level. Divine sanction is great and your Cha mod is higher.
Actually, Manous Artouche's cha modifier and str modifier are equal. ;) But I read the powers and made the switch anyway. And I think I had increased Int at 4th level, so I undid that and boosted cha to 18, so now it IS highter.
Scotley, I may want to rebuild Manous somewhat using the options to replace Lay on Han ds in PH2. I need to do more reading tonight. I think I like the option that allows a paladin to remove one condition from an ally per laying on of hands. ;)

Scotley, if I want my PC to have a pistol, what rules are we using for that? Or are firearms not very common yet?

Yes, I believe the simplest approach is just to use the rules for crossbows, so for pistol, a hand crossbow and call it a pistol. It requires minimal changes to the rules--only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

I think you're thinking 3.5; the only lay on hands feats like that are in Divine Power and their paragon tier.
