This poll is going to be used to help gauge how our community feels about allowing material beyond the limits of the System Reference Document. Hopefully everyone's familiar with the termonology, so here's just a brief description...
System Reference Document - This is the most balanced and public material to allow at our messageboard "table." Basically, it's requisite. We also consider anything in the core rulebooks to be in this category, because the core is necessary to really play 3.5e.
Limited Open Game License - This means that we can add extra concepts from Open Game sources to our setting. This would include, for instance, the craft points system on page 97 of Unearthed Arcanna. This is a possible solution to our "item creation" problems, and although it will cause some people to make necessary changes to their characters, it could work out.
Wizards "Official" non FR Materials - If your voting for this, it means that your willing to approve a blanket of material that won't necessarily be available to every player. We can always provide the information on a person to person basis as necessary (and characters would all be required to have full special ability descriptions on their records). As a start, we would accept the minis handbook and the complete series. The monster books (draconomicon and the undead book coming out in october) would be likely cannidates to be accepted later. Book of Vile Darkness and Book of Exalted Deeds might recieve consideration, though they are both less likely than the above.
Wizards "Official" setting specifics - Eberon, Forgotten Realms. Products like Underdark and Unapproachable East contain information that isn't entirely setting specific (like items, creatures, etc.) could be borrowed up.
Third Party Material - This means we would give limited approval to third party books. This has a whole subset that would need to be polled over on a case by case basis.
