If someone with lesser globe of invulnerability active gets hit with a dispel magic and the globe passes the check, any/all of other ongoing spell effects do not need to make dispel checks. Correct?

An area Dispel Magic will not affect the Globe, hence, it will not affect anything within the Globe (the Globe stops 3rd level spells and Dispel Magic is 3rd level).
A targeted Dispel Magic might affect the Globe, but since it is targeted, it will not affect any of the other spells, regardless of whether it brings the Globe down or not.
Not if the creature is in the globe, you can't:Ogrork said:But you can target a creature
...spells fail to affect any target located within the globe.
Actually, it really obviously won't work because the spell itself states that:Ogrork said:The area version obviously won't work since, if the globe was the highest level spell, that would be the one dispelled.
The globe can be brought down by a targeted dispel magic spell, but not by an area dispel magic.
The others have answered your question, but this is a subtle point that may confuse you later. The lesser globe of invulnerability is not an ongoing effect on the creature (it's an area effect, and stationary at that). So, if the creature got targeted by a greater dispel magic, the globe would not be affected at all.Ogrork the Mighty said:But you can target a creature, in which case all ongoing spells must make the check.
