They finished it off fairly easily then, but it was fun to challenge such a well equipped 15th level party with a CR11 creature.

Of course you did so by essentially changing the basic rules on how D&D combat works, but never mind...

That's the problem with sharing stories on message boards, everyone has to put there 2 cents in about how you run your game.

They really had no trouble with any amount of the lesser wraiths, but one dread wraith proved a serious challenge for them. Why? Incorporeal undead with Spring Attack, in a small room with a 60ft. fly speed.

Oh, by the way, wraiths don't have blindsense and can't see through walls even if they can move through them.

The litmus test is really if your players are having fun... .. well, up to the point that you crushed his greatswords.
