• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

Divided gaming group - looking for help.

Maybe some one-shots or two-shots with different game systems - say Swords & Wizardry, AD&D/OSRIC, Pathfinder, 4e, maybe Dragon Warriors or Dragon Age - and see if there's a mutually acceptable game?

Or do what I do and play what YOU like - Pathfinder, apparently. :) If I were you I'd start them with the Beginner Box though.

For my two cents, as the GM, you should run the game that you like better. If you can tell us about what's important to you in a game, it will make the decision a lot easier. If the players don't want to play in a particular system, then sobeit.

For the sake of science, you [-]should[/-] must run both games simultaneously.

Use 3.5E rules for some players and 4E rules for the others at the same table at the same time.

Then report back here and let us know how it works. I'm sure Mearls and Cook at WotC would love to know how it goes. B-)

Clearly run the one you as GM prefer.

Sounds like you have gone 4E and as a GM I would say that is a good choice (though I too love 3.5/PF and have issues with parts of 4E).

It is especially easy to convert, given the amount of monsters already stated out and with such variety (eg many goblins). No cross-referencing the monsters is a godsend.
