Perehaps I am in error or reading to much into the item creation rules but couldn't an an arcane caster work with a divine caster when creating a scroll?
For example say you have a wizard with the scribe scroll feat and he has a cleric buddy who wants him to make a scroll. Since you can choose who is considered to be the creator of a magic item could these two characters say the cleric is considered the creator and thus the scroll would be a divine scroll? If the cleric is decided to be the creator and clerics can only create divine spells would it not follow that the scroll would be a divine item?
If not then why can creators copperate on other items?
Has this been ruled on before? I looked thorugh the F.A.Q. but didn't find this exact situation discussed.
Also, if two characters do decide to cooperate on making a magic item who pays the XP? The person with the feat? The person who is decided to be the caster?
For the rules on magic item creation, mont notably copperative efforts, please see the DMG page 178 under the "prerequisites" heading.
