Divine CR

Sadly, there is no quick answer to this. Deities & Demigods, like all of D&D, holds that you should not just treat gods as another monster for the party to eventually fight and kill. To reinforce that, they gave no CR's for the various gods in the book, nor did they list what the CR increase would be for giving a creature divine ranks.

Guestimating can be difficult and unwieldy in this situation. Your best bet is probably to use this CR Calculator document that Upper_Krust is previewing for his upcoming Immortals Handbook, but even this would only be a general guideline, since it doesn't cover CR increases for divine abilities (that I've seen anyway), at least, not yet. Be sure to leave feedback on it over here.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. :(

You have to wonder why they bothered to give them combat stats, then. Maybe the purpose of a god is to flip out and kill other gods.

Hong "are gods mammals?" Ooi

IIRC, D&D said something along the lines of HD from class levels + CR from Base Creature* + Deity rank = CR

Most of the deities in D&D where CR 0 from the base creatures. But D&D said that IF players kill a deity they should gain a level, no matter their level.
