Divine Defense

I am going to takenover DM in our Group.
I need a realy BBEG Fighting type to throw at a group Level 12 - 13 8 Chars.
I am thinking about Cleric / Blackguard build.
Can someone tell me if Divine defense with a Magical shield stack?
Any proposals for Cleric / Blackguard Build are welcome.
Need something Nasty, all Complete Books and Core are allowed.

Feat gives Cleric Charisma Bonus to AC for giving up one Turning attempt.
Complete Warrior if i remember right.

You might be thinking of Divine Shield (add Cha bonus as sacred bonus to AC, when using a shield). In which case, yes, it stacks with a magical shield.

Ur Preist. Gets you high level spells fast.

I'd go....Paladin of Tyranny (or Slaughter; see UA if you don't know these) 2/Hexblade 3/Ur Preist 8.

Ur Preist 8 will get 8th level spells, plus some other goodies. Yes I know Hexblade is Arcane, but Mettle and another adding of Cha to all saves. Add in some blackguard levels and that's your Cha bonus thrice. This is why evil will always win, because good is dumb (or in this case, less charismatic).

You get some mad MAD though (STR, CON, WIS, CHA). You can mitigate the STR with a divine feat or something (Divine Might I think).

Easy. Go Cleric=> Paladin => Vampire => Blackguard. Get fire protection. Watch your players die.

Vampires are sooo cheap for a CR +2 and so impossible for players with an LA +8.
