What's a half-cake???

I feel like it's some sort of muffin or scone.

Basically a cake half the size of a normal cake. Think of it like the personal pan pizza of desserts.

At My local African restaraunt, they make these mini size cakes. They are half cakes on the menu ( so in this case I think inside of calling them small cakes.. the half word is simply them stating they are half the size of a normal cake). They arnt particuarly sweet and more remind me of a biscuit to be honest.

I believe also Halflings love them!
