It's a hoot. The gaming-humor is usually spot on.

I love the "all I have is this stupid broken sword, I want to buy something else" bit.

I actually read it LONG before Darths and Droids, but then again if you read my sig, I think that you will see I am quite familiar with it. :)

I too read it a few years ago, and absolutely loved it.

Your sig quote is a classic line. When I first read it in the story, I blew Sam Adams Pale Ale out of my nose.

Shamus' comments are hilarious.

I was at work reading it while I was on lunch... I had a long period of cleaning after that session. :) That's part of the reason I put it in my sig.

Both DM of the Rings and Darth and Droids are hilarious. It's a shame DMotR was a bit short, but it's got a lot of great punchlines, and Shamus' comments are very good. D&D is much more elaborate, and more subtle in its humor, but they seem to take a lot of pleasure in warping the storyline from the movies as much as possible. That makes it a little harder to follow, but it's still a fun read. I need to catch up on it though, last time I read it, it was using a deleted scene from Episode III with Padme, Bail Organa, and Mon Mothma (who was taking with a valley girl accent of all things! :p), so I'm probably a bit behind.
