DM Rules

I'm new to D&D 4.0e and I want to see a page on DM Rules, I looked in the 4.0e Players Handbook but didn't find them.

If you want DM rules you need the DM's guide. Completely different book.

In D&D, the DM rules are more like DM guidelines, though.

DMs don't have rules. They adjudicate rules to the best of their ability, and overrule rules as they see fit, and house rule as necessary.

The only 'rule' a DM's measured by is the rule of fun.

It's full of DM advice and rules useful to the DM for adjudicating effects, creating adventures, creating encounters, and creating monsters.

If you need monsters and don't want to create them all yourself:

THere are a number of excellent DM's and players floating around here that will offer advice, opinions, and thier thoughts on a range of topics {just remember to read the forum rules...}

While not exactly what you're looking for, it's a good start (and it's free). Wizards released the Shadowfell Keep free as a PDF. It at least has some behinds the scenes info.

If you really want to use KotS then I strongly suggest one of the "KotS Remixes".

Had I found it at the time I would have just as likely used The Alexandrian - Keep on the Shadowfell.
