Hey folks! It's me, your friendly neighborhood Tsunami!
I'd like to introduce you to a new little gig we're hosting in the EN World Chat Room (#dnd3e)- DM Seminars.
These are Thursday-night chat sessions in which we collect a number of DMs together to discuss certain topics that often come up during D&D. Epic level gameplay, running large groups, how much money to commission for Bugaboo-style Dungeon Mastery... you name it, we'll discuss it.
The first DM Seminar Chat will be held Thursday, February 12th, and will concern using House Rules in your campaign. The chat will be at 9:00 pm Central Time Zone (8:00 pm Mountain Time Zone, 7:00 pm Pacific Time Zone, 10:00 pm Eastern Time Zone).
Why should you attend this DM Seminar? I'll give you a few good reasons:
- You use house rules in your campaign.
- You don't use house rules in your campaign, but want to look into some good ideas.
- You especially enjoy an intelligent conversation upon the application of various optional rulings in roleplaying games.
- You don't like to spend big bucks on big books when you can come up with the rules yourself!
- You just plum like to chat.
- You'd like to discuss some neat house rules you've been cooking up with some famous DMs from EN World.
- Your campaign world is a bit dry, and you think House Rules can add some zesty flavor.
- You have nothing better to do on a Thursday Night (this is my reason!).
