DMG Dungeon Map confirmation

Hey,

Can someone with a 3.5 DMG and a ruler help a guy at work out?

How big are the squares on the dungeon map? 1 inch? Or more?

Actually, they appear to be ever-so-slightly SMALLER than one inch, according to the ruler I just pulled out of my drawer.

This can be mildly problematic when combined with using rulers for range determination if extrapolated over a large playing area, but not a major concern at the scale presented, IMO.

Ah this is good actually. The Mage Knight 3d Dungeons are 1.8 inches or so across if you have walls on either side, so they fit a 10 ft scale pretty well.
