Dunno if that is anqmuwhere, though that could be in Van Richten's Guise, st least eh Ravem Queem being behind the Chirch of Ezra.I don't know why, but I had for some reason thought that the Raven Queen was an ascended Shadowborn paladin from Ravenloft and behind the Church of Ezra.
This inclusion made me smile.Phandalin
I've never heard anyone pronounce it "fan-DAY-lin", though, have you? This inclusion made me smile.
I would say fan-DUH-lin, personally.I've never heard anyone pronounce it "fan-DAY-lin", though, have you?
EDIT: On topic of pronunciations, it seems they've changed their minds on Acererak. In Tomb of Annihilation, it's "ah-SAIR-ack" but in the Lore Glossary they've got it as "ah-SAIR-er-rack".
Also, "ah-LOOSE-tree-ell" just sounds silly to me. She'll always be "ah-LUSS-tree-ell". And her sister is "LAY-rull" not "LAIR-ull".
I don't like either option for Euryale either. A modern Greek speaker would pronounce it like "ehv-ree-AH-lee". I tend to go with "yur-EE-ah-lee" myself.
I prefer "HAY-dar" for Hadar myself.
I've also pronounced Kas as "KASS" not "KOSS".
I've also always pronounced Tharizdun as "THA-rizz-dun".
I would also be inclined to pronounce Yolande as "yo-LAND-uh".
Yeah, I thought any "named spell" mage was a shoein.I'm a little surprised that Drawmij, Leomund, Tenser and Rary weren't put into the glossary, considering they have named spells right in the PHB.
Huh. I've always gone with the other official pronunciation of "FAN-duh-lin".I would say fan-DUH-lin, personally.
If there is one place you would hope has stayed the same it would be MechanusThat last one isn't real news for those who had figured out 289 was just 17 squared and that there are 17 Outer Planes. It's been that number since 2e.
