D&D 5E DMG Preview: Creating Races

I didn't see a thread, so thought I'd start one. I love the idea of race and class creation guidelines, although from the limited preview I don't know if they're doing more than just "Look at other races and make something similar."

I'm glad they're essentially Aasimar up for "free," though. But still...I'd like to see more guidelines for actual race creation.

Ah, thanks. So a question: Are threads on the front page in any particular forum? I thought they were always in a specific forum?

Also, I looked but didn't see the linked thread...but looking again, I found it. My bad.
