Yes, bigger as in covering more archetypes and stories. Yes, more awesome, as in more dynamic and more full of interesting things, bits and bobs. Which of those do you think is "MOAR POWER" like some adrenaline junkie turning their death laser to 12 because 11 is too weak? My words were not "MOAR POWER" you just chose to interpret them that way. Yes, my example was more hyperbolic, subtlety wasn't going to get the point across. No, your insulting and denigrating my preferences just because you don't like them isn't okay. Sure, you can push away the mushrooms, but it isn't exactly polite to say to a stranger in a restaurant "I'm glad you have those disgusting and revolting things and not me." Because why are you calling the things they like disgusting and revolting? You can actually express your preference without insulting other people's preferences. And if you can't. they have entire training courses devoted to teaching people how to do it. And so that makes it better because they are just speculating? Hard to enjoy a meal while everyone around you is spitting on the floor in disgust and loudly complaining about the service. "Just don't talk to them" doesn't exactly solve that. And I am trying to follow people that I like and that I think have level headed opinions... and then I go into the comment section and see people spitting on the floor in disgust and loudly complaining about the service, and so what is the point of watching the previews or analysis if I can't engage with it? I'm not saying they don't. But do they need to complain about lies they made up? Do they need to continue complaining after stating three years ago that they would never buy another WoTC product? Do they need to continue complaining about design decisions that were made over twenty years ago? And if you think they do have the right to do that... then don't I have the right to complain about it in turn? Again, I wasn't responding to your posts directly. I was using it as a springboard. You talked about your enthusiasm, I talked about mine. I do not like leaving misunderstandings between people in my conversations. I know I'm no brilliant writer who can perfectly convey everything, but I do try and seek clarity, and when I see people who don't seem to see the things they are saying, it frustrates me and makes me want to help clarify that. You didn't respond to me saying your claims about my preferences were false by asking me what I meant originally. You responded by saying "No, I'm right, because I'm saying what I think". You have never once asked why I might the thing you said insulting, you have just said that your opinion cannot possibly be insulting to someone. Sure, I could have thought "Wow, this Ezo is a terrible person, no point in talking to them" but... does that make anything better? Is me just dismissing you as an arrogant jerk improve anything? Especially since I don't actually think you are actually a terrible person? That it is possible you just don't see or understand what you are saying? I'm not saying I'm perfect either, I get frustrated and prickly and combative, especially when I'm dealing with the same things over and over and over again. But I do try and deal with them, not just dismiss people out of hand.
