DMGenie is great!

Based on a post here from a few weeks back, I looked into DMGenie, and I am very impressed.

It's not as strong as eTools in the character creation department, but it's improving. There are regular releases, and the developer actually communicates with the users, which is refreshing after riding the eTools ride.

I have basically done a 180 degree turn on the use of a computer in-game. Before evaluating DMGenie, I was opposed to the intrusion, but after running through a few combats and taking advantage of the campaign managment tools, I am hooked.

Check it out!

The latest version does html output, which prints rather well.

Now that I use DMGenie to run combats, I can't imagine not using it.

I liked the demo. A couple of quick things...

Is there a d20 Modern part planned?

Can you not export an adventure into something readable in hardcopy, like an rtf or pdf?

SJ,

Yes, we are planning to add the d20 modern material that is in the SRD fairly soon. Exporting adventures to a .RTF file is also in the works.

Thanks,
